What is a sankalpa? San (highest or best) kalpa (desire that we follow above all else; a rule or a vow).
Sankalpa is an intention born from the heart. It is where our deepest desires lie in wait to be revealed. Yoga Nidra is the sublime science of the complete and ultimate practice of self-care; the practice of deep relaxation, healing, and embodying the state of yoga.
In this 2-hour workshop we will do a short meditation and some writing to uncover the seed of our deepest desire. We will utilize yoga nidra to facilitate a reshaping of the unconscious and plant this seed of our highest intention; how we manifest thought into form.
For this workshop you will need something comfortable to sit on (a chair or cushion), something to write with (pen or pencil and a journal or paper) and a space to set up for yoga nidra. This might include a yoga mat and blanket, but you could also set up your space on a carpeted floor with a small cushion for your head, a light scarf to cover your eyes, and a blanket to make sure you are warm during the practice.
This workshop is virtual.
